My mom has life insurance money (Cigna) from my Dad that she got when he passed away.  We had deposited money from her life insurance into her bank account back in December.  Today for some reason Cigna thought the check was fraudulent and removed the money from my moms checking account.  This check was written to herself which makes this even more confusing.  Has anyone ever heard of an insurance company doing this.  What gives them the right to go into someones checking account and take out a check that was deposited 3  months ago.  This put my moms account in to overdraft status and she needs this money to live.  Is this legal? Huh

that sounds shady. somtimes it seems like they do this stuff to make it difficult for fraud but in reality others suffer.
