A relative of mine is having doubts in moving in a nursing home because she thinks it would suck out the life out of her. It gives her an impression that it would be boring and dull. Do nursing homes offer fun activities for their residents, if yes what kind of activities?

Most of the time, it is not unusual that a person may be too ashamed to discuss the trauma they are experiencing. Please share your views on this. Thanks!

Signs of emotional abuse are the easiest to overlook. They may be wrongly dismissed as an elderly patient simply "getting old" or as a symptom of a preexisting medical condition.

There are some unusual activities, which abuse the old aged patients in the nursing homes. It is really very much pathetic and it should be restricted in all nursing home as soon as possible.
