Hello,

I have a bunch of questions.  We are looking at putting my grandmother in a nursing facility.  She is completely competent mentally but need assistance with daily living.  To make a long story short my uncle is her POA.  She needs a little rehab due to an injury.  She does not want to be there at all or at least no longer than needed.  Can she check herself out and get in home care?  If so who pays for that? Also would her property need to be sold right away if she did go into the nursing home?  I don't like how this is going because nobody is listening to what she wants.  I cannot find any information on what the laws are so im in the dark
